Carly Stewart will star in the first time that the late-night talk show host will appear as an onscreen guest in the Late Late, Late Show, and Late Late Late.
The first-ever appearance of the late comedian on the Late Show will be a special episode that airs Sunday, September 28, during the first week of October.
The show will mark the first appearance of Stewart since last September when he starred as a guest on the show.
The Late Late cast includes James Corden, Seth Meyers, David Schwimmer, Adam Scott, and Stephen Colbert.
Stewart will also appear in the second episode of the special.
In a statement to Business Insider, Stewart said he was honored to appear on the new series.
“I am thrilled to finally be part of a network of late night that’s dedicated to bringing the great and sometimes hilarious moments of our show to a global audience.
The show will air in the United States on Monday, October 7, but we hope that other countries will pick up the late night train as well,” he said.”
It’s exciting to be on the latest show in a series that I have always been a huge fan of.
I can’t wait to do it again!”
The series will also feature a special guest appearance from Stephen Colbert, who will be joined by fellow late night host, comedian Amy Schumer, and host Seth Meets the Robinsons’ Jim Carrey.
